Welcome to this example Content Management System website. With this type of website, you can control the content of all of the pages via the custom built backend system. This system, which was designed and programmed entirely by Sligo Web Solutions, allows you to create as well as edit pages.

Features include the ability to:

  • add new pages
  • edit existing pages.
  • delete pages.
  • upload and add images.
  • add external media eg: YouTube videos.
  • add links to both internal and external content.
  • add S.E.O. (Search Engine Optimization) information such as keywords and description.
  • manipulate text font, colour and size.

Blog

There is also an additional, optional feature that allows you to add blog or article posts to the website. These posts will then be displayed as links in the side panel of the webpage and can be accessed by clicking on the title of the article or post. You can create and edit posts the same as you would a page.

Comment boxes allow your content to spread beyond the boundaries of your website by allowing visitors to interact with your content. This interaction is then displayed on the visitors Facebook page, allowing their friends to see it too.

Social Media Sharing

Adding social media buttons like Facebooks "Like" and "Share" buttons and Twitters "Tweet" button also give visitors the option to share your content with just the click of a button. These are essential tools for any website and are a feature that we add to every page and post of every website unless expressely asked not to.

Embed Facebook Posts & Tweets

You also have the option to embed Facebook posts and Tweets directly onto your webpage by simply copying the code from Facebook or Twitter and pasting it into the HTML part of the editor.
