Short film highlights the perils of dangerous junction in Sligo

Readers of a sensitive disposition should be warned that the end of this clip is quite shocking in case they want to avoid it.

With the opening of the likes of the M8 to Cork and the M6 to Galway, main roads around Ireland have improved in recent years, but there remains a number of roads in various parts of the country that motorists have to exercise particular caution on because of the condition they’re in.

In an effort to highlight the dangers at one particular junction near the village of Calry in Sligo, Sligeach Films have produced a short clip that certainly has the desired impact, with shocking content similar to some of the ads produced by the Road Safety Authority (RSA) in recent years.

The clip initially points out what drivers coming from Calry face when they arrive at the junction before emphasising the dangers in terrifying fashion at the end, something you should be aware of before watching it right through.
